Rodeway Inn Ontario Airport Mills

I booked a king bed but was given two queens. There was a language barrier at the front desk, and the sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. The room smelled, the coffee pot didn’t work, and when my wife went downstairs at 5:30 a.m. to ask for another, they said they had none. People were hanging around by the front doors and running around noisily on the second level early in the morning. The whole place felt unsafe and had an awful atmosphere. There’s no breakfast. The service was awful, and I’ll never stay here again or recommend it. I’ve stayed at other Roadway Inns, and this one makes them look bad. It should be shut down. I’ll be in touch with corporate.

The lady wasn’t rude to me, despite what others have said. There was a bit of a language barrier, and the paperwork wasn’t clear; I also didn’t get a copy. The rates are what they are. It’s not a five-star resort, but if you just need a place to stop, sleep, shower, and be left alone, this will do.

My room smelled awful, and the microwave and refrigerator both didn’t work. The toilet was nearly detached from the floor, the pillows were barely an inch thick, and there wasn’t any toilet paper when I arrived. The door was the wrong one for that room, so it only locked from inside. If I left, I couldn’t secure the room and would have had to take all my belongings with me. You’d be better off going to the Ontario airport along the 10 freeway than staying in this despicable place.

We checked in at 2 a.m. and didn’t feel like driving somewhere else, but I wish we’d never booked here. The blankets smelled like BO, the bathrooms smelled, there were badly patched holes in the walls, and I found a bed bug. The rooms were disgusting. Don’t stay here, especially with children. When we asked the front desk for a refund, she was rude and said, “We get people like you in here all the time.” People who complain about a room that isn’t clean? This was the worst experience ever. I hope this saves someone else from it.
