Sheraton Ontario Airport Hotel

The staff treated me well. They noticed my birthday was coming up and left a nice gift pack in my room. It was ironically the best food I ate all week. I don’t know how people survive in California, the restaurants there are so underwhelming. The location is really bad, and I’m not sure Ontario even has a nice part of town, but this certainly isn’t it. The top-floor lounge was dirty, run down, smelled horrible, and the breakfast food was inedible. I’m unfortunately coming back to Ontario in April, but I can’t see myself staying here again.

The breakfast was included in my Expedia reservation at the Sheraton Hotel Ontario, but getting it was frustrating from check-in onward. The front desk employee wouldn’t give me a breakfast voucher and handed me a parking permit, saying that was the voucher. I had to return the next morning before the front desk lady finally gave me one. At the restaurant, an employee said I’d have to pay if I ordered anything, even though breakfast was part of the booking. She gave me only an omelette and coffee, nothing else, and was extremely rude. The restaurant staff and evening front desk staff were both unprofessional and disrespectful. For a hotel with the Sheraton name, that service was unacceptable. I left disappointed and disrespected, and wouldn’t recommend this location.

I hated having to write this. It was the worst experience I’ve had at a Marriott property. Some staff were helpful, but others were very rude. I checked in around 4 a.m. and was told I needed to check out around 4 p.m. I agreed, then called the front desk and was told I could stay until the next day. I relied on what they told me, and woke up to another charge. I’d also canceled my flight because I thought I was staying another day. Management and supervisors were rude and unhelpful when I tried to discuss the charge, and they wouldn’t resolve the situation in my favor. I ended up paying for someone else’s mistake. A horrible experience.

The beds were very uncomfortable and need improvement. The rooms, though, were spacious, remodeled, and comfortable otherwise. The lobby and restaurant staff were exceptional.
