The rooms are run down, and the owners don’t fix things. Three roaches had to be killed, the restroom door wouldn’t close so there was no privacy, and the heater didn’t work. The manager insisted it did, so I went out and bought one. When I asked him to turn it on at checkout, he couldn’t get it working either. SMH, this was my last time at this Sands motel.

My sister stayed here last night. She found cockroaches and mice in her room, then they moved her to the room next door, where it was the same story. They were disrespectful and wouldn’t refund her. The motel isn’t fit to stay or live in. I’d never stay there or recommend it.

The rooms were nice, but the service was only okay. They knocked before checkout time and opened the door while I was sleeping, then looked inside. Weird behavior.

The location was easy to find, and the rooms were nice. The female owner was incredibly rude to my friend and me.

Both rooms I was in had cockroaches. When I asked for a refund, he said no because he’d moved me to another room, but that one had them too. The hotel is very cheap, and it won’t get my money again. I’ll never rent a room here, and the staff are very rude.
