Economy Inn - Ontario Airport/Chino

This was super gross. I can't believe the beds have bed bugs. The mattresses still have plastic on them, apparently to keep bed bugs from getting too deep inside. If you like bed bugs, stay here.

The only thing I'd give three stars for is the location near the airport. Everything else gets zero. On the first night I found that the outside door lock didn't work, so anyone could have walked into my room while I slept. The inside lock was just a nail, nothing else. I went straight to the office, but they brushed it off by saying they had cameras, which doesn't help if I'm killed, right? They moved me to another room that reeked of marijuana. I didn't even put my luggage down before going back to the office. They switched me again, to a room by the office that smelled of curry, at least nothing worse. Then a dog cried all night. The whole stay was a nightmare. I tried to cancel the very first night, but the man told me I couldn't get a refund because I'd prepaid. It's rundown, in a crummy area, with lowlifes hanging around and homeless people sleeping in cars outside your door. Never stay here.

The first night the fire alarm went off, and the desk person was asking an older man how to shut it off. The next night, four cockroaches came out when I lifted the bathroom floor mat. I told someone at the desk, and he said to tell the cleaning lady, but she didn't speak English. They only spruce up the rooms every third day. While I was eating, I felt something crawling up my leg. I turned on the light and saw a small cockroach. Two huge dogs barked all day. Bad, bad, bad.

My husband and I drove three hours to spend New Year's here, and the room was disgusting. We were given keys to the private jacuzzi room, but when we opened the door, it smelled awful, like urine and cigarettes. The place was trashed with socks, underwear, beer bottles, and garbage. Avoid this place at any cost.
