Holiday Inn Ontario Airport by IHG

Getting to my third-floor room was a pain because there were no stairs I could use and the elevator wasn't working properly. The room was absolutely freezing when I arrived. The Samsung TV was nice, but its remote was poor and lacked buttons I needed.

We only stayed briefly because our flight was delayed, but the visit was comfortable and relaxing, and we had everything we needed. Holiday Inn Ontario Airport has a fresh, well-kept feel, with a pleasant clean scent throughout. The modern rooms look nice, and the lobby is welcoming, with updated furniture, a small convenience store, guest computers, and a laundry room. We'd definitely consider returning.

This is about the booking process. I started with Southwest, where you can arrange a flight, car, and hotel together. I tried to book a room but was told the rate was higher than the $95 shown on Google Maps. Then I contacted Holiday Inn and got transferred to what I think was a time-share setup. My credit card stopped a payment, and they tried to send multiple amounts. I don't know if this was a Holiday Inn issue or someone at the Reservation Desk. Citi Bank told me the charge was canceled. I called Holiday Inn to check for a reservation before booking a room. They said I was past the cancellation date, but the nightly rate had gone up. This started on March 18th. When I called back on April 20, they said there was a reservation for May 18-24, no payment had been made, but the rate had increased and I couldn't cancel. I hadn't paid them anything. I do have the flight and car. They said I needed to speak with someone else to cancel. A local Holiday Inn told me I had no reservation, so as far as I'm concerned, it's canceled. Don't do the club thing or anything else.

This was my first time at this Holiday Inn in Ontario ca, and I don't know the area well. As soon as I stepped into the parking lot, I noticed how clean it was. The pool area was just as clean, with clear, nice water. Inside, the restaurant looked nice and fancy, as did the lobby. Erica checked me in and was very helpful and accommodating. She explained the amenities in detail and seemed to take pride in her job. Thanks to Erica and all the staff for making my stay pleasant. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to family and friends.
