Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Orange Park

The rooms are nice, but there were a lot of practical issues. The first floor ice machine was out, so you had to wait for the bartender to get ice. In the evening there were no supplies at the desk, not even coffee, and the bar employees discussed too many work problems. My key never worked on the outer doors after they locked them, and the digital key only worked there sometimes. The desk clerk was nice but didn’t seem well trained and couldn’t answer questions.

The breakfast attendant was especially kind and welcoming, and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself was comfortable, very clean, and well maintained. A wonderful stay.

There was water leaking in the lobby near the elevator, apparently from some kind of flood. Wet floor signs seemed to be the only response, when it looked like they needed a company to handle the wet floors. My room also wasn’t clean, there was hair in the bathroom that wasn’t mine.

The location is good and the room was quiet, but a few things didn’t work right. The faucet sticks and is hard to turn on, and the toilet keeps running unless you tend to it. The outlets, including the Type A charging outlets, didn’t work.
