Best Western Orange Inn & Suites

I booked this motel for one reason: the pool. I called Wednesday and specifically asked whether it was open, and was told yes. When we arrived, the pool was GREEN. The clerk, whose little girl was playing and pretending to be a clerk, said the chemicals were correct but swimming was at your own risk. Few motels or even hotels in the area have a pool, so we ended up staying much farther from where we needed to be. We could have been closer and at a much nicer hotel. Do better, Best Western.

The room was pretty comfortable, and the staff were amazing. I booked here for an out-of-town class, and there are a few fast food places right next door.

The staff were friendly and the service was good, but breakfast sucked and the pool was unusable because it was green. The bathroom in our third-floor room had mold on the ceiling and in the shower. The pullout bed mattress had a huge pee stain. The hotel was clean apart from the mold, though my research made it look like most rooms have mold. I'm very unsatisfied. At this price, I'd spend my money elsewhere. There are better places to stay, and I should have asked for a refund.

The front desk was nice, but the room was one of the worst I've stayed in. It smelled as soon as I walked in, and the room had a dog-piss smell. The shower leaked too. That's the problem with these hotels, charging over $100 a night for junk.
