Baymont by Wyndham Orlando North Millenia

I stayed three nights, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was filthy. The floors were so dirty I kept my outdoor shoes on, and there was visible hair on the bathroom floor. We asked for room service, but the hair stayed in exactly the same spot afterward. That tells you how little the floors were cleaned. The common areas were just as bad. There was actual vomit on the hallway floor. A staff member walked past without cleaning it or calling anyone. They also ran out of body wash, which is bizarre for a paid hotel stay. Basic hygiene supplies shouldn’t be optional. The front desk receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Whenever we called for room service, we kept getting put on hold. We had to hang up and call back several times before anyone answered, and then they were short, dismissive, and unwelcoming. More than a week after checkout, our security deposit still hadn’t been returned. When we called to follow up, we thanked them for looking into it, and they hung up on us without an explanation or reassurance. Asking about our own money shouldn’t be treated as a nuisance. The whole exchange felt dismissive and honestly fishy. Between the filth, vomit in a public area, missing supplies, rude staff, and unresolved deposit, this place is a hard no. Save yourself the stress, hygiene risk, and sketchy feeling. Don’t stay here.

Breakfast was decent, though getting a waffle after 9 meant facing a queue like the ones at Disney. The rooms were fairly clean and had a little coffee maker, which is about the extent of the good points. There’s no fridge, and the TV has very few channels with no way to connect HDMI or wireless devices. Noise went on all night. People were walking the patios, the rooms let sound through, and we could hear I-4 and the neighbors. There are no elevators, and service was awful. I waited 15 minutes at the desk before anyone appeared. There’s no bell, shouting did nothing, and the phone number didn’t work. Though it’s supposed to be smoke-free, the stairwell smelled so strongly of grass that you could get high walking up to your room. If you can spend a little more, skip this place.

We found used condoms on the stairs up to the rooms in the morning. That was completely unacceptable and says a lot about how badly the property is run. The hotel is in poor shape and seems to lack basic maintenance. The room, towels, and bedding didn’t seem properly cleaned either. One star feels generous. It was neither clean nor comfortable, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were there for four nights, and it was a peaceful stay. The beds were comfortable and the staff were great. Breakfast was warm, though not hot. We didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave in the room, but when we asked, they brought us one quickly. I had a great experience and would stay again.
