Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve

The kids have two waterslides and a big playground, and there are ping-pong and pool tables plus cornhole. The Lazy River and pool area is lovely, with beautifully landscaped grounds. The restaurant has a large patio and tasty food at reasonable prices. The units are roomy, including townhouses, and there's a great golf course.

We'd been trying for years to get a stay at this property, so finally making it here was a real treat. The rooms were amazing, and the palms, pool, lazy river, and walking path made it easy to relax and get the full vacation feeling. We’re fine with skipping daily housekeeping, especially to avoid fresh towels every day. Still, the signs asking guests to strip the beds and put all the towels in the tub felt a bit like a European hostel, which didn’t seem ideal for owners.

We spent a really relaxing weekend at Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve, and it was better than I expected. The heated pool and lazy river were lovely, and I appreciated that the cabanas with couches and loungers were free. My daughter had a great time with the slides, playground, and yard games. Our studio had decent room for two adults and two young kids, which worked well for a short stay. This could become our favorite Orlando Marriott resort. We’ll be back.

The staff were kind and professional, and there was plenty to do, from the fitness center and marketplace to activities throughout the day. The pool area was fun for adults and kids alike. Housekeeping was the frustrating part. MVC owners have to pay extra for a room tidying, $60 in my case. I booked a time the day before, then checked with the front desk that morning and was told it would happen as requested. When I came back several hours later, nothing had been done. The housekeeper on my floor said she hadn't been told our room needed service, so something was missed or miscommunicated. I was disappointed, and the tidying had to be moved to the next day.
