Comfort Suites Near Universal Orlando Resort

Even though our room wasn't ready when we arrived before check-in, the staff checked on it right away and stored our luggage for free. That worked perfectly, and when we returned, check-in was easy. Jacqueline, Katharina, and Nancy were all genuinely kind, helpful, and informative. They even pointed us to the best nearby Wingstop. The bed was soft and comfortable, and we had a restful one-night stay. The bathroom was clean but felt dated and could use an update. Breakfast had something for everyone, and I especially liked the corned beef and hash. Breanna worked hard and kept everything running smoothly. We also enjoyed relaxing in the heated pool and hot tub. It's a clean, safe, comfortable hotel with great staff, and we'd stay again.

Our family of five had a wonderful four-day stay just before Christmas while visiting the Universal Parks. We were unsure at first, but ended up very happy and would recommend it especially to families or groups of more than four. The location, service, hot fresh breakfast, and value for the area were hard to beat. The people who run and work here are doing a great job. Our flight was delayed by a few hours, so we arrived very late at night or early in the morning. My card payment hadn't gone through at first, and I was unreachable during the flight. After I landed, they got in touch and made sure I was still coming before cancelling the reservation. I appreciated that. The young woman at the desk on the night of 21/22 Dec was wonderful and efficient. We were tired after the long trip, but she checked us in quickly and explained what we needed to know. I came down a couple more times for extra towels, sheets, and pillows, and she brought everything without a fuss so we could rest before the park the next day. There was also a little room by the check-in desk with vending machines, over-the-counter medicine, candy, and chocolate bars. It was reassuring to know I could grab food, a drink, or medicine at any time, pay at the counter, and stay on schedule without needing to stop at a nearby store or pharmacy. The suite had two queen beds that comfortably fit four, plus a foldout sofa bed for a couple more. It and the bathroom were clean and well maintained. This isn't a luxury suite, just a decent standard place to rest when you spend most of the day at the parks. There was a well-stocked coffee maker, small fridge, microwave, TV, and a desk and chair with room to work on a laptop. There was also a single-seat sofa, and an iron, ironing board, and small safe in the coat closet. Housekeeping and regular cleaning continued daily, even during the holidays. Breakfast was great, with plenty to choose from: cereal, waffles, milk, coffee, different fruit juices, breads, muffins, cakes, and fresh eggs and sausages that were replenished throughout breakfast. The free shuttle pickup for Universal Parks is conveniently right next door. They recommend booking a spot the day ahead. The suite and service alone were enough for me to recommend this hotel; the location, shuttle, and breakfast added a lot of value. We were very happy with our family stay and hope to come back.

If you're looking for a more affordable option than the pricey name-brand resorts, this hotel is a great alternative. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we really liked having room service and breakfast included. It saved us time and money in the morning. The free shuttle to the Universal parks takes about 10 minutes, which is very convenient. You get plenty of comfort for a much friendlier price. Definitely worth it.

The rooms were clean, okay, and felt safe, and the hotel itself is good. Service was the problem. Staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, didn't greet guests, and skipped basic courtesies like saying hello or goodbye. As Diamond members, we weren't acknowledged or offered water either. They need better training in hospitality and guest service. With better service, this place could easily be a 10/10.
