We felt very welcome here. The staff were kind and helped whenever I needed something, and the big, clean rooms were more than satisfactory for someone as fussy about cleanliness as me. The carpet did smell bad, though, which seems to be an issue in nearly all American hotels. The price was surprisingly low for the location and room size. It's close to the parks, especially Disney, and the hotel has free buses to the parks that saved me money. Rideshare trips would've been around $7 to $16 each, but we didn't need them. There are walkable dining options nearby, including a convenience store, a Steak and Shake, and other restaurants along the parking lot. Breakfast had a wide range of choices. It was a lovely place, and I have nothing else to complain about.
Carmen was especially helpful, going out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The reception and breakfast staff were all incredibly friendly, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room every day. The shuttles made trips to the parks easy, and the location is very close to Universal, Disney, and SeaWorld. The rooms are a little dated and could use an update, but we had a comfortable stay overall. For a friendly, clean place in a convenient spot, this is a good choice. We'd stay again.
The breakfast was a great way to fuel up for the day, with hot foods like bacon, sausage links, eggs, and roasted potatoes. We also had free shuttles to Disney World, Universal, and Sea World, about a 20-minute ride away. The hotel is in the middle of everything and offers great value for such a convenient location. It's in a plaza with a sushi and Asian buffet, Wawa open 24/7, a gift shop, Steak and Shake, and plenty more nearby. This was the most convenient place I've stayed with my family on vacation.
During our June 2025 trip to Disneyland, we found the location excellent and the facilities clean and well maintained. The mattress in our first room sagged in the middle, but the staff quickly helped us switch rooms in the middle of the night. They kept the new room for us for the rest of our four-night stay, and we really appreciated that service.
The front desk staff were kind and apologetic, and the room was acceptably clean, but management never came to speak with us after a string of serious problems. We left feeling that nobody at the leadership level had taken responsibility. The most frightening incident happened around 10 PM. Someone tried our door, then came back about 15 minutes later and managed to open it. Only the security latch stopped them from coming in. A few minutes later, the desk called to ask who was in the room. When I gave my last name, they asked whether we had been moved to the airport hotel. They had moved my parents, not us. It turned out another guest had been given duplicate keys to our room. My three young children were terrified, and no compensation was offered. The problems had started earlier that day. We arrived before 11 AM, left our luggage with the desk, and gave them my phone number so they could call when the rooms were ready. Around 3 PM, I found an email saying that my room and my parents’ room had been transferred to a Marriott near Orlando International Airport. We had picked this hotel for its closeness to Disney, and the move split up our family because my in-laws weren’t transferred. A call could have prevented a lot of confusion. My parents had to stay elsewhere and spent more than $150 on Uber and taxis, which was later reimbursed. The next day, our room had no cold water. I told the desk before we went to the parks, and later they said there was a leak and we needed to change rooms because the plumber didn’t have the parts to fix it. The new room was only two doors away, but while moving I saw that the bathtub in the old room was almost overflowing. The drain had been left plugged despite the visible leak. I alerted the desk, and soon saw the technician go in and rush back out looking concerned. That could have caused major damage if it had gone unnoticed. Staff thanked me, but again no manager appeared. We came for a family Disney vacation, and it was also a first Disney Adventure for my littles. The hotel was overbooked, we were moved without proper communication, our safety was compromised, and the room had maintenance problems. The staff were pleasant, but management was absent throughout.
