Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-John Young Pkwy/S. P

I'm furious that my deposit still hasn't been refunded. The man at the front desk working at 3:50 pm on 1/24/26 wouldn't give me his name. That feels like a very shady business practice. When I first arrived, the black lady working there was asleep and had a nasty attitude, as if I was bothering her. She didn't know what was happening or what to do. They had canceled my original reservation, so I had to make another one. I paid 139 before arriving because I was coming after check-in time had closed. At check-in she charged me another 239.96, gave me a room key, and I went to bed. I couldn't get on WiFi, so I called to have it fixed. About 20 minutes later she called to say another charge hadn't gone through. I asked what charge, since I'd just paid and had my key. She said it was for incidentals, which wasn't the issue. The problem was that she hadn't charged it during check-in and instead tried it without telling me. I keep my card locked until I need to use it. When I asked why she hadn't mentioned it at check-in, she said, “we can shorten the stay if you can’t afford it”. That's absolutely disgusting to say to a customer. I paid the 150 and went to bed at 6 am, with a wedding at 3 pm and no sleep yet. I still haven't gotten my refund. This is by far the worst customer service I've had at a Hilton.

We spent one night here in December and had a very good stay. It was clean and festive for the holidays, and breakfast was good. The location gave us a break from the crazy theme park traffic. Parking and resort fees, both so common in Orlando, weren't hidden extras here. Recommend it.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The location is convenient for activities, though our room could've been cleaner: my sister's feet turned black from walking on the bathroom floor and carpet. The breakfast was okay. Our first night wasn't great because people woke us up fighting at 2 a.m.

I made a mistake while scheduling and didn't catch it until I went to check in. They wouldn't change the reservation or refund the payment, so I ended up paying in full for a second room while they kept the original payment. It felt like actual robbery. I've spoken to nearly half a dozen people and nobody has been willing to help. Hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Stay far away from this terrible place.
