I lived here from 2021-2024. The location is hard to beat: Target, Costco, Dollar Tree, Home Depot, lots of restaurants, and the mall are nearby, with easy access to I4. My apartment was spacious and had all the appliances. The office staff were nice and helpful, and the maintenance team was AMAZING, prompt, friendly, and always helpful. There are different wifi providers, so I could get fiber for working from home. I didn’t use the pool or gym, but they looked nice, and there’s also a playground and dog park. The biggest problem was roaches from spring through fall 2023. I hadn’t seen any before March. The exterminator said that seeing small roaches during the day was a very bad sign and recommended treatments every two weeks. After about three months, the exterminator still couldn’t explain why they were showing up and thought they might be coming from another unit. I told the office, but they just offered to schedule another treatment. The problem lasted until around Thanksgiving, when it got cooler and, I assume, the roaches went into hibernation. I only saw three in 2024, all in January, but dealing with them through all of 2023 was a nightmare. In 2024 they brought in “on call parking,” a third-party website where you have to register resident and guest cars. It costs $50 per resident car, and guests can get ticketed or towed if you don’t register their cars on the not very user friendly site. They say this is to help with limited parking, but you can register as many guests as you want, so to me it just adds a $50 fee and a hassle whenever someone visits. Valet trash was nice at first, but the rules are strict. Your bin can only be out from 5pm-8pm, or you get fined. If you want to put it out before work because you won’t be home by 5, too bad. I and many other residents started taking our trash to the dumpster instead. You still have to pay for valet trash even if you don’t use it, and with so many people using the dumpster, it fills up. The complex says bins can only be out from 5-8 to keep up the appearance, but I think an overflowing dumpster looks worse than bins outside people’s doors. I also had problems with other residents. For about a year, one person left her dog’s waste in front of people’s doors. Many of us complained to the office, but it only stopped after she moved out. Another resident vandalized my car. I reported it, but there are no cameras in the parking lot, so nothing was done. A neighbor also had someone rummage through their car after they accidentally left it unlocked. I like the apartment, the location, and the maintenance team is the best I’ve ever dealt with. Still, a lot of things here ended in ways I wish they hadn’t. No apartment is perfect, but this is my honest experience.
