Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando/International Drive South

The breakfast was cold every day, and that’s why my family won’t stay here again. The eggs and sausage sit in a case without anything to keep them warm. Breakfast at other Hilton hotels I’ve visited has been much warmer and better. The rest of the stay had a lot going for it. We liked the spacious room, the mini kitchen, and the surprisingly comfortable pull-out couch. The location is fairly central to the theme parks, and the staff were wonderful.

Even with Thanksgiving crowds, the property stayed quiet and relaxing. The staff were thoughtful and professional throughout the holiday, and the place was well maintained. My room was clean, spacious, up to date, and comfortable, with everything in good working order. It was a nice spot to unwind after a long day. Digital check-in made arrival easy, and the service felt attentive despite the rush. I had a very pleasant stay and would consider coming back. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, dependable place to stay, even over a major holiday.

I’ve had great experiences at Home2 before, but this was easily the most disappointing. The staff were genuinely wonderful, and the laundry facilities were convenient and easy to use. The room looked okay at first, but the corners, shower edges, and area around the toilet were noticeably dirty, like they’d been missed for a while. It felt like only the visible surfaces had been cleaned.

The night staff deserve credit for being patient, welcoming, and very friendly. I stayed with a group of students on an overseas trip, and they enjoyed the pool and the nice AC in the lobby. The location worked well too, with a supermarket within walking distance and Orlando easy to get around by Uber. The rooms were great for the price. I found the breakfast buffet a bit odd for my European taste buds, very oily and heavy on eggs, but I still managed a solid breakfast each morning. Great hotel, highly recommend.
