The room was filthy, and I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean it myself. Hair covered the bathroom, the floors were sticky, the shower ceiling was chipping into the tub, there was mold on the bathroom trim, and roaches were under the mini fridge. The dressers were kept shut with a piece of cardboard. The TV and Wi-Fi didn't work, so I had to use my own hotspot. The pool was advertised but closed for the season, and there were people lingering around who didn't feel kid-friendly to me. We were there because of a family emergency, but I wouldn't stay again. For four people and a baby, they provided only one towel and argued when we asked for more. When we requested toilet paper, the front desk said one roll should last us more than two days. The advertised breakfast was available only on weekends and amounted to two cereal choices and toast. Some of the bread was moldy; the more covered pieces had been thrown in the trash. The coffee was stale and the creamer lumpy.

At check-in the front desk woman was a doll. I didn't raise my complaints afterward because I didn't think I'd get a refund to go elsewhere. The room had no trash can or phone, the TV didn't work, and I killed cockroaches crawling across the wall. The shower was disgusting, and water pressure at the sink was barely there. I picked this place over others nearby for the price and clearly got less than I paid for. I won't be trying the continental breakfast. To add to that, there was pubic hair in the shower, the water pressure was very low, and the shower actuator stuck halfway between shower and tub. There was visible mold in the tile grout and along the hem of the shower curtain. Calls to customer service didn't help at all.

The room looked very rough, and it ended up costing me $267 even though the rate was $67 a night. They charged a $100 deposit, then charged my card another $100 at checkout after telling me the deposit would be refunded. I never got back the $200 charged in error. When I asked for a receipt, they said the printer was broken. It took 15 minutes to email one, and they made an adjustment to the bill so it looked like the room had only cost $67. I consider that fraud and think they should be arrested. Don't stay here unless you're willing to pay $267 for a rough-looking room.

It's inexpensive and off the highway, but the bathroom door was damaged and hard to close. The bathroom light is tied to the room's vanity area, which doesn't work well. The toilet paper was depleted when we arrived, so I had to get a new roll from the maid. The beds had no bedspreads, the dirty carpet had a huge hole, and the room smelled like dogs. The outside stairs need pressure washing. The office didn't open until 9 a.m., and I couldn't get a checkout receipt.
