Huron House Bed and Breakfast

We spent a relaxing evening in the outdoor hot tub, sipping cocktails as snow fell over Lake Huron, and the winter view was beautiful. The room felt private, warm, and inviting, and the food was delicious. Mitch and Pam were very hospitable and clearly aim to please. We also found some great restaurants a short drive away. Huron House Bed and Breakfast gave us everything we expected and then some, with a nice small-town feel. We'd happily recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Breakfast brought right to the room was top-tier, and the privacy made it easy to unplug and reconnect. We had a couple of last-minute changes, but the staff handled them with genuine hospitality and no stress. We’ll 100% be back. The fire pits looking out over the lake made for a quiet, scenic evening. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a fireplace and thoughtful little touches, including a personalized welcome card. The chocolate chip cookies were warm, fresh, and so good I kept thinking about them afterward. From our private deck, the sunrise over Lake Huron was unreal. The hot tub was just as memorable, especially under the stars with waves in the background. It felt like the whole place was made for slowing down and enjoying the moment. If you’re considering a stay, do it. It’s an experience.

We’re bed and breakfast travelers, and the Manitue room at Huron House Bed and Breakfast is beautiful. The view from our room is great, and we can’t wait to see the sunrise over Lake Huron. They brought dessert to the room when we arrived, which was a nice treat. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, cups, and coffee pods. The flavored creamer was a bonus for us coffee lovers. It’s the first bed and breakfast we’ve stayed at that offered flavored creamer in every room. This is our first night, so we haven’t had breakfast yet. I’ll update.

We were welcomed with a card congratulating us on our retirement, and breakfast was hot and delicious. The desserts delivered to the room were wonderful, too. Service was excellent, and they regularly asked if there was anything they could do to make the stay better. We chose The Sunrise room for our retirement celebration and loved it. Two full walls of windows gave us panoramic Lake Huron views and beautiful sunrises. The decor was lovely, everything was clean, and the bed with its luxury linens was super comfortable. The towels were big, soft, and fluffy. We also enjoyed the fireplace, outdoor hot tub, and private deck. They’d thought of the details: coffee and snacks, plus cups, plates, silverware, and wine glasses, with a Keurig, sugar, and creamer. We had a wonderful weekend at The Huron House, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it.
