Getting on and off highway 41 is easy, there’s a gas station right there, and downtown is only a few minutes away. The place was quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was good. The woman on duty did a great job covering both the front desk and housekeeping. The pool and hot tub listed online belong to a different hotel under different ownership, so there aren’t any here. I’d stay again.

Unbelievable. We booked online for a concert in Milwaukee, then found an empty parking lot, locked doors, and nobody answering the phone. Other guests with reservations were driving around trying to figure out why the hotel was closed. Customer care couldn’t help and said we might or might not be charged. They said it could take a week to contact us about what happened. Never expected this. I’m glad we weren’t flying in from out of state or driving more than a couple of hours. I imagine some of the other guests may have been.

The room was ready when I arrived, clean, and at a comfortable temperature. I was in town overnight for work, and check-in was quick, with helpful, friendly staff. I didn’t use the pool, though the area looked nice. The amenities were fine and the room was quiet. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and checking out was easy. A pleasant stay.

There’s no elevator, so request the first floor if stairs are a problem. We got lucky, but my parents had to haul their luggage upstairs. It’s a smaller two-floor hotel with one wing, and the beds were very comfortable. We visited during Country USA weekend, so there was some late-night partying, as at other hotels nearby, but the hotel handled issues promptly. The pool was great, too. Breakfast tasted good, though the layout was odd and we had to circle around a few times to find everything. The utensils were scattered around: knives by the oatmeal, spoons somewhere else, and forks in another spot. The buffet attendant kept things stocked even when there were lots of people. I’d stay again, but I’ll request first-floor rooms for both of us.
