The food was good, but it arrived cold. There had just been an event, so the restaurant was pretty slammed, though at $200 for two people, I still expected a hot meal. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant is a nice option if you plan to eat there rather than order room service.

This is the last hotel on our trip. It looks nice inside and out, and everything seems well maintained, with plenty of decent parking. The person who checked us in was pleasant and efficient. My room was nice, and the bathroom was clean and up to date, but the shower only gave us very hot water. There was just one tissue left in the box, and the room batteries seemed like they’d need replacing soon. Breakfast was pretty blah.

I’m in Ottumwa for work fairly often and have tried just about every hotel around. In my opinion, Cobblestone Hotel is easily the nicest place to stay in town. The service and cleanliness are worth the very reasonable prices, and Patty has helped me several times with exceptional service. I love staying here. The attached restaurant is also very nice.

I loved the room, a two-queen suite with a separate spot for a small sectional sofa and TV. It was incredibly clean, the bathroom was clean too, and the beds were so comfortable. The lobby and other shared spaces were spotless. The staff were helpful, friendly, and informative, and the snack bar had lots of choices at reasonable prices. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’d recommend The Cobblestone Inns & Suites to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The stay was very pleasant, with friendly staff, a great location, and a high-quality restaurant. My only issue was parking: because the event center had a program that evening, they couldn’t guarantee us a spot. We were told to get back by 5:30 to make sure we could park in the lot. This was back in March.
