We loved the balcony view from the Box Canyon room. Having coffee there each morning while watching the humming birds was a treat. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the claw foot bathtub was the best. Jen and Mike were great to deal with and took good care of what we needed. It’s an easy walk into town or to Box Canon, and we can’t wait to return.

AlpLily Inn kept the character of a historic old house while giving the room modern updates. We were happy we chose it. The room was large, with views, a living area, coffee, Netflix, and a comfortable king bed. There was also a large bathroom and a great shower.

The hosts were flexible about our earlier breakfast time, and made the best breakfast we had in town. They also gave us lots of helpful ideas for things to do around Ouray. We stayed a couple of days and had a wonderful time. The house was dressed up for the holidays and felt cozy, and our room was spacious and clean. We hope to come back soon.

This was my third stay at the AlpLily, and it still feels like home. Jen makes arrival and checkout easy, and the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and clean. Restaurants and shops are just a short walk away, with a great view of the beautiful San Juan Mountains.

The owners were cheerful and took good care of the property. They were generous with local information and advice, and the food was good. It’s quiet here, and the fruit trees around the house are a fun touch in summer. They also have several types of lodging, from full floors available to rent to small kitchenette rooms that feel more like a traditional bed and breakfast.
