Comfort Inn Owasso - Tulsa

I’ve stayed at this Comfort Inn every year since it opened, and I’m done with it. It’s deteriorated a lot, with plenty of things needing repair. The bedding was stained and so gross that I slept on top of the covers in my jacket. The hairdryer was missing, and although the bathroom electricity worked, it kept cutting out when I tried to use my dryer. The door locks in my first room weren’t installed right, so I couldn’t lock the door, though they did move me to another room. After breakfast, my key wouldn’t open the room either. Two other guests and I waited around half an hour at the desk to get keys reprogrammed, but the clerk had stepped away, according to the sign. I’ve stayed at many Comfort Inns, some good and some that shouldn’t be open. This one really let me down.

For the price, the rooms and facilities were better than I expected. There’s an indoor pool and a small business center, though I was disappointed that the fitness room wasn’t available. Breakfast comes every day, with a small selection that’s mostly the same. Still, something’s better than nothing, and coffee is always welcome.

Jennifer at the front desk went above and beyond. She helped me feel safe and comfortable in my room, and answered my many questions about the area with real knowledge and care. The location was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I could want and more. I’d recommend staying here if you’re hoping for a relaxing night’s sleep.

There were stains in several places on the blankets, and the bathroom exhaust fan was held up with tape, which didn’t give me much confidence. The room also had a really strong, unpleasant smell that we couldn’t clear, even after making coffee and trying air freshener. The elevator had a worrying mechanical or electrical odor too, so we used the stairs for the rest of our stay. The room and facilities were in much worse condition than we expected.
