Our bill came to $420 for 2 nights, even though the rate was supposed to be $130 per night. When I asked how, I was told, “tax???” That sounds like fraud to me. The room was truly the oldest and grossest motel room you can imagine. A horrible experience.
The people were amazing, the place was clean, and the beds felt like clouds. One of the best motels I've stayed in.
They locked me out of my room a night early, even though we'd already paid, and there were bugs. I got no refund. The management and owners are shady.
I stayed 2 nights while visiting my son at the Oxford Outpatient Center, and I'd stay here again. For the price, it's a great motel. As a woman traveling alone, I was a little concerned about feeling safe, but I liked being able to park right in front of my door. My king size non-smoking room was clean and comfortable, with no smoke smell. The remote-controlled A/C and heat worked fine. The TV was old style, so my fire stick was useless, but there were enough channels to find something to watch. No coffee maker, but there was a small fridge and microwave. The shower pressure was great.
The room was cramped, and the bed was really uncomfortable. The pillows were so flat they felt like folded sheets. There was no soap, shampoo, or coffee maker, and the TV was an old antique. The bathroom shower and walls were filthy, the floor was sticky, and the baseboards were dirty throughout. The refrigerator was rusty, scratched up, and ancient. The owner was unprofessional when I asked for extra pillows and gave us only one for two people. The room walls needed attention too. The photos are from 5/25/2022. In my opinion, this place felt more like a flop house. I wouldn't recommend it, and we're never staying here again.
