The location made getting around easy, with the University of Mississippi and lots of shops and restaurants close by. At the hotel, the lobby is bright and open, and people were always using it to play games, work, or relax. It has a modern, social feel. My room was clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The staff I dealt with were mostly friendly and willing to help, even when things were busy. There are a few trade-offs with the streamlined setup. The room is tight, with limited storage and little drawer or closet space, which you'd notice more on a longer stay or with lots of luggage. Breakfast was decent but nothing special, and the area got crowded and a bit messy at peak times. After reading a range of reviews, my stay at Tru by Hilton Oxford was about what I expected: a solid, no-frills choice if you want somewhere clean, affordable, and well located, as long as you aren't looking for full service.

It's a nice place in a great location. Our plans changed a little, and Nathan the manager was very accommodating. His service was customer service at its finest, and it will keep me coming back to the Hilton brand. Two thumbs up and kudos for a job well done.

I'd never stayed at a Tru by Hilton before, and this place was a welcome surprise. It's bright and clean, and even the stairwells feel inviting enough to use when you're not carrying luggage. The woman at the front desk was delightful. Breakfast included healthy choices like locally made yogurt, the workout equipment was nice, and the beds were comfortable.

We had a great stay, even though it lasted just one day. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the room was great with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, and everything tasted fresh and good. The hotel is within walking distance of a movie theatre and various restaurants, so my husband and I treated ourselves to dinner and a movie. We wished we could've stayed longer.

The beds and pillows were great, and the water pressure was good. Everything was spotless, and the hotel also had a well-equipped gym, a guest laundry room, and a snack bar with lots of choices. The staff were extremely friendly. You can tell the person running the place takes real pride in it. Thanks for such a nice place to stay for the night. If I'm back in town, I'll definitely stay here again. Other hotels could learn from how this place is run. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
