We just spent another weekend here. We've been coming for 5-6 years, usually once a year, and this is still where we stay when we visit Monterey. It's quiet, feels safe, has good parking, and is near both the beach and Monterey. Dogs are welcome for a small fee, and the front desk is polite. We love this Inn and will be back. These rooms aren't the Hilton, so look elsewhere if you want something extravagant. They're a decent size with a nice atmosphere. I have housekeeping experience, and the bedrooms and bathroom are ALWAYS spotless. The beds aren't feather-soft, but the firmness suits me and I sleep well. My boyfriend works in pest control specializing in bedbugs, and he says the rooms are always perfect too, with no bugs of any kind. As for complaints about water pressure, it's the coast, and ALL hotels are like that because they're conserving water.
