The rooms were big and the beds very comfortable, so I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The man who checked me in was so welcoming and sweet. He gave us directions for walking to the sunset beach and restaurants, and kept offering juice and yogurt. He was really helpful. Highly recommend.

As soon as we came in, the room smelled fresh and clean. It was cute, comfortable, and well maintained, and we could really unwind there. The fireplace added such a cozy, relaxing feel. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay again, and highly recommend it! 😊

I’ve stayed at sunset inn before and have never been disappointed. This time the room was spacious and had a fireplace, with outstanding, cozy bedding, and lots of toiletries. There was plenty of parking too. At check-in, our host was so gracious and welcoming, and treated us like family. Great stay. See you again soon sunset inn. 🦋

For our six nights, the quiet and peaceful setting suited us retirees really well. The service was outstanding, and our hosts were happy to accommodate anything we needed. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed and sheets were comfortable. The ocean, beach, and walking paths are close by. Pacific Grove/Monterey also had plenty of activities, with shops and restaurants a short distance away. We highly recommend this peaceful boutique hotel and will absolutely return!

The outside and inside of our cottage rental were very well kept, with a beautifully paved driveway and comfortable outdoor seating. It’s convenient for downtown Pacific Grove, Monterey attractions, and places to eat. A great starting point for a trip down the PCH!
