The room was $187 on a Monday night with my Hilton Honors discount, which felt a bit pricey. I'd give it about 3.5 stars, so I'll round up to four. The breakfast spread and coffee were decent, and at least they had eggs and sausage alongside the waffles, French toast, bagels, white bread, and sugary juice I wish hotels would stop serving. I think that kind of food is poison and contributes to obesity and disease in America. The rooms have no soundproofing at all. I could hear the people next door talking while I was trying to sleep, and a green light flashing on the ceiling was distracting too. The pillows weren't very comfortable, though the shampoo, lotion, and towels were good quality.

Everyone was friendly, professional, and kind, and they made it easy to get a room and settle in with my pet. We slept wonderfully and were ready to hit the road the next day. As someone who gets turned around easily, I also found it simple to get on and off the highway.

After a long drive from Atlanta toward Illinois for my student-athlete's official recruitment visit, my GPS sent me onto back roads and got me lost for over two hours. Once we made it back to the highway, we found this gem. Mr. Rashid was phenomenal when we arrived. He looked up my Hilton's member information and gave us a spotless room at a very reasonable rate. As a former hotel regional manager, I appreciated how attentive and professional he was, and wish I'd had more staff like him. Hot breakfast and much-needed coffee were a big plus. The one issue was the breakfast attendant yelling at my children for serving themselves. She pointed to a sign that wasn't there and said they had to be at least 16 to get breakfast. My college-age daughter and high-school-aged son look very young, so it wasn't a big deal. Thanks to Mr. Rashid's care, I'll stay here again when I visit my daughter.

We come back to this Hampton Inn twice a year and have done so for several years, mainly because of Ms Shawn. She's warm, welcoming, and truly caring, and every visit feels like seeing family again. As retired military with grandbabies of our own, we enjoy talking with her about her son-in-law's service and her new grandbabies. Her personal touch makes the hotel feel like home, and we're so grateful for her. Shawn is a gem.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn for a week and was grateful for the staff, who went above and beyond. They were great to work with, and I appreciated the breakfast options and good coffee. A week after checking out, I realized I'd left something valuable in my room. They still had it and went the extra mile to get it back to me. I travel to Paducah often for work and have tried several hotels in the area. So far, I'd recommend this one over the others.
