Hotel 7 Inn Paducah

My husband and I have been staying here for a while, and the place looks great now. The staff have really stepped up to clean it up, the new staff are very helpful, and the owner has treated us sooo good. A big shout-out to the owner who runs the place and to the manager, who comes over all the time to help out. She’s a wonderful manager. If you want somewhere nice, clean, and safe, stop by when you’re in town. If nobody’s in the office, call the number, they carry their phone at all times. A lot of the time they’re checking rooms to make sure everything they need is there or doing laundry. Thank you to everyone at 711 Motel.

The room had a couple of problems, the heat controls were broken and the TV wouldn’t work. Before we could even check in, we waited about 15 minutes for someone to unlock the lobby door, though the desk is supposed to be staffed all the time. Our stay could’ve been better.

The beds were okay, but that was about the only positive. The room felt dirty enough that I kept my shoes on until bedtime, and with three kids, including one almost two, I wouldn’t let the little one play on the floor in case she picked up something that wasn’t ours. There was trash under the AC and candy wrappers behind the bin, so it didn’t look like housekeeping had vacuumed. The carpet was coming up, the dressers and nightstands were falling apart, and the old pillows were flat, with only two per bed. The tubs wouldn’t hold water unless you pushed a washcloth into the drain, and some door locks were broken. The place was dark and didn’t feel safe. No breakfast, and it wasn’t worth $71 a night. I have several photos, though I’m not sure how to add them. I should have asked for a refund and left.

We stayed in Room 114 at HOTEL 7, 5001 Hinckleville Rd. in Paducah, KY, from Oct/10/2024 to Oct./12/2024. The state of the room was hard to believe, with problems that were both unpleasant and unsafe. The second entry door lock and the phone were broken. The wall hair dryer and the towel rack over the toilet were loose and coming away from the wall. As for the room itself, the toilet paper holder was broken, so we had to pick up and unroll the paper. The mattress had a deep valley and was badly worn, the rug was frayed by the door, and the tub surround work was sloppy. The TV hung crooked, the window was extremely dirty, and there was no soap dish for a wet bar of soap. I’m surprised the Health/Building department hasn’t visited and stopped them from accepting guests.
