I booked three nights while we’re in the middle of moving, expecting to find the cheapest room online. I was surprised by how clean and nice this hotel was. Everything has been remodeled, including the hardwood floors, so there’s no musty carpet smell. The desk staff were very nice, and the room was, too. I’ll be back if I need a room again!

The family members who stayed were thrilled. The room was exactly what they needed, and they said the location was awesome. Westowne Inn had the lowest price we found on the website we were using, and they’d heard it had been renovated. I’m new to Paducah, KY, so I checked that the location felt okay and safe, then checked in for them and looked at the room myself. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. Since it’s a motel, I was especially impressed by the doors. They seemed incredibly sturdy and safe. The person at check-in was cordial and matter-of-fact, reminded me several times about the huge no-smoking rule, didn’t seem bothered or confused that I wasn’t the one staying, and offered helpful recommendations. The family reported that the water was way too hot for one of them, but perfectly fiery for their partner. My husband and I have recently stayed at two upscale hotels where the water was chilly, and there was no room cleaning or towel exchange even over multiple days, so we were jealous. The rate was $52 a night. I never thought a room this good could cost that in 2026. This place was a lifesaver during a family emergency, when they needed somewhere to stay for a few nights, and more days would’ve been even better.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and I had the best sleep I’ve had in months. I woke up refreshed, without muscle or joint pain. Even with the place almost full, it was quiet, and you could barely hear anyone. The renovated room had two queen beds, a microwave, a fridge and a TV, with a sink beside the bathroom. The bathroom is small, just enough room for the shower and toilet by the door, so watch out for your knee if the door is left open or locked. The bathtub slopes a bit and gets slippery when wet. Owners, please add anti-slip strips to prevent an accident. Hot water took about three to four minutes to reach the shower, but was comfortable once it did. Mr Jay was professional, efficient, cordial, helpful and friendly. The building is old but recently renovated, with three floors. It’s less than a mile from I-24 exit 4, though easy to miss if you blink or aren’t paying attention. The lobby is small, with room for three to five customers. I came for a last-minute overnight stay on 11/20/2025. It’s a great place for the night, though about $95-100 feels a bit pricey. I’d still stay again if I’m passing through this way.

I told them three times that we had a dog, but after three days here, someone came up and said the dog couldn’t stay because I hadn’t been charged for it. I’d also asked for a room for a week, but they only booked us for one night. When I asked if they could fix it, the man had no idea how. These people don’t know what they’re doing. Don’t stay here.

The cable cords were cut and the room was dirty, so they moved me to a newly remodeled room. That one had no breakfast or coffee, and the microwave locked my cup of water inside. Nobody was around to help. The big sign says no refunds, and I should’ve taken photos. One woman asked if I had hot water. I had warm water, but it ran out after two minutes.
