The location was nice, but for $114 a night I expected more. The hotel felt old and not very clean, and the room had a musty smell. It was hot outside, but the air conditioning was off. The pool was empty and closed, and breakfast was just dry bread and bagels, so we skipped it. The staff were the worst part, extremely unfriendly. They'd ask things with one word and answer questions with one word, always with an irritated expression and tone.

The bed was comfortable, but the room was only passably clean and had roaches. I've never seen a toilet so tiny, and I could hear the people next door. The location was easy to get to, but there wasn't enough parking for us near our room. I wouldn't stay again.

The staff were nice and the location was great, but the room reeked of Pine-sol, though it wasn't bleach. It made me sick, even after I left the door open for two hours, which felt like a safety issue. The motel was full, so we couldn't switch rooms. I assume they probably all smelled that way. I wouldn't bring kids or dogs unless they start using products that are safe for people.

The morning checkout was easy, and there were decent breakfast choices. Getting to Travelodge in Page, AZ was straightforward with GPS, parking was sufficient, and check-in went as expected since we had a reservation. Still, I was glad to leave Page, AZ. The beds were very firm, too hard for us. The toilet worked, but sat strangely low, like one for kindergarteners. There were usually just one or two ants at a time by the sink, and I know nature can get indoors, so that's not entirely the hotel's fault. The showerhead was so low that even at average height I had to use my limbo skills to wash my hair. The fridge was tucked into a cabinet without enough ventilation, which seemed like a minor fire hazard. And then there was the noise. It sounded like a music festival going late into the night. At first I thought another guest was being rude, so I called the front desk. The staff member said it wasn't on-site and she couldn't do anything about it. She said it usually stopped by 2am. So this is apparently a regular thing that violates the town's noise ordinance, but she said police would only deal with it if they got enough complaints. She made clear I would have to call myself, but didn't give me the local police number. It's not a 911 issue, and others I've discussed it with agree the hotel staff should call for guests. Several nearby hotels could each complain and probably get the noisy neighbor dealt with quickly. Instead, we all get to listen to discordant drumbeats and womp-womp until the bar closes at 2am.

Absolutely dreadful. Sewage stank up the room, and during our stay the bathroom ceiling began to collapse. Both problems came from a leak in the upstairs toilet that had been badly patched and wasn't fixed while we were there. The pool had been shut down without warning before our stay, and breakfast meant dry toast or a dry bagel with watered-down orange juice. Don't stay here.
