Quality Inn Palm Bay - Melbourne I-95

Being just off I-95 made this an easy stop on my drive along Florida’s east coast. Restaurants, shops, and a Starbucks were walkable, and Melbourne Beach, the Brevard Zoo, and the Kennedy Space Center were a short drive away. The pool was clean and a nice place to relax, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including waffles, eggs, and coffee. I found the staff warm and welcoming from check-in, which was quick, and they suggested some local places. My room was spacious, spotless, and fresh, with a comfortable plush bed that helped me sleep well after the long drive. The TV, microwave, fridge, and free Wi-Fi were all useful, and the Wi-Fi was strong. For a budget hotel, the stay exceeded my expectations and felt like good value. I’d stay at the Quality Inn Palm Bay - Melbourne I-95 again on another trip through Palm Bay.

We only stayed one night, from 1/28-1/29/26, and had no issues with the room. The staff were great. The woman at the desk was there during the day both days and told us about Little Asia, the little gem across the street. The food was the best Asian food I’ve had, and she was such a positive, wonderful person. I don’t know her name. I’d recommend this place to family and friends. Thank you.

My parents came into town for a funeral for a very close family friend, and a few other people joined them to visit since they live in Tennessee. That’s normal. We asked in advance if we could use the lobby to play games and let a few kids swim. A staff member initially said yes, but then areas were suddenly closing. Nobody was trespassed, though staff did try to have us trespassed even though no one had asked us to leave. My mom said she was leaving after how we’d been treated, and then the police showed up and staff had us trespassed. No report was filed. The officer I spoke to laughed about the situation and said that if I’d asked, he would have told me never to stay here. This was over a four day stay, and the service was horrible. The hotel is independently owned, which we learned after nobody seemed to care. Staff were extremely rude, and they would laugh and smirk when we asked questions. Whether the pool and common areas were open seemed to depend on who was working and how they felt. Rooms were nasty and the whole place smelled terrible. I filed a complaint with Choice Hotels, and thankfully we’ll get a full refund. When I asked the manager for her name, she pretended she hadn’t been given one. I also saw replies to several one star reviews claiming those reviewers had never stayed there, so I’m adding pictures. The town area was horrible, and the place seemed like a dive motel. After all of that, I say do not stay here.

When we’re in the Melbourne area, this is the hotel we choose. Our first visit in Spring of 2025 was so amazing that when we returned in January 2026, we insisted on staying here again. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s always fresh coffee and delicious lemonade in the lobby, and the breakfast is actually really good: eggs, pancakes, sausage, yogurt, fruit, and more. Book here and you won’t be sorry.
