Motel 6 Palm Desert, CA - Palm Springs Area

Really good value, with friendly service, affordable and clean rooms, and a great location. The parking lot is quiet and clean, and the place feels safe without anything crazy going on. The little refrigerator works well, and there are loads of TV channels, including several HBO ones.

In 67 years, I’ve never stayed in a hotel room this filthy. The room was by far the dirtiest I’ve seen, in what felt like the filthiest hotel. The floors had grime from years of dried dirty wash water, and just a few steps out of the shower left our feet black. Wear socks. There was hair in the sink and shower when we arrived, and the tile ledge above the shower looked like it hadn’t been wiped in years. We were there four days and got no cleaning service. Outside, the walkways and surrounding area had food scraps, sticky patches, and general filth. It seemed like they were never swept, let alone hosed down. Yuck.

The room at Motel 6 Palm Desert was clean, comfortable, and had what I needed. Check-in was easy, parking was easy, and the staff were welcoming, professional, and ready to help. The location is handy for restaurants, shopping, and enjoying Palm Desert. For an affordable stay, the value was especially good without giving up comfort, safety, or service. I felt well looked after and will stay again next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend Motel 6 Palm Desert.

The room was clean and practical, basic but just what I needed for the price. The desk person was attentive and helpful. Coffee was in the office in the morning, and the solo ice maker was next to the office. Everything was pretty basic, though the pool looked nice.
