The pool and hot tub were drained and closed without any notice, which was a big letdown. Inside, even after staff came to clean, the surfaces still felt greasy and the room still seemed dirty. The door lock wiring was exposed, there were several cockroaches, and another door had been nailed and screwed shut. On arrival the bed was unmade and used soap was left behind. When I called the front desk, they insisted the room had been cleaned and said I was mistaken, then eventually agreed to clean it while we were out. I came in with low expectations, but this place was bad.

The beds and bedding were okay, and the second room I was given had been cleaned. The first one clearly hadn’t been, with unmade beds and toilet paper on the bathroom floor. In the cleaned room, outlets had no covers, a light cover was missing with bulbs exposed, there was no smoke alarm, and I saw roaches. There was only one coat hanger. The ice machine wasn’t working, and the hot tub was empty except for palm branches, with neither issue mentioned. Trash was around the building and the dumpster area was overflowing. One room had a sheriff sticker on the door, and some had broken windows. The owners or managers had a beautiful white Range Rover and Lexis, which seemed to class the place up. Motels around here get old, I understand, but this looked ignored. Pictures don’t lie. Avoid this dump.

The room was so nasty I’m almost speechless. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and honestly, prison would be a better place to stay. I asked the manager for a refund, but they refused. Don’t go here.

We checked out within 15 minutes because my partner and I considered the room uninhabitable. The front door latch was basically missing, so the door couldn’t be locked, which felt like a serious safety problem. The sheets weren’t fully clean, with old yellow stains visible on them and the padding. The bed frame looked badly eaten by termites, and there was tagging on the headboard. The bathroom didn’t look properly cleaned in a long time. Across the room, a strange door had a gap underneath that seemed to look into another room. I asked for my money back for those 15 minutes, but the request was refused. Shady hotel. I recommend staying far away.
