This was our second visit, and it felt like coming home again. We had told the hotel our room preference and pre-ordered dinner before arriving, so we could eat right away instead of waiting. Traveling with a child, that made a big difference. Our child could settle down and get to bed on time despite our busy schedule. I’d also arranged breakfast for the next morning. I called after waking up, and it was ready without any fuss. The hotel seemed to remember what we like. All the water in the room was Voss this time, the bed was as comfortable as before, and the room was quiet and just the right temperature. We slept extremely well. The coffee is one of my favorite things here. I liked it so much I asked what brand the beans were. San Jose was our destination this time, which isn’t the most convenient location for that, but our past stays have been so lovely that I’ll very likely choose this hotel again for this trip and future visits to the Bay Area.

I stayed here April 9-12, 2026, for a work training, and the experience fell well short of what I expected. The fire alarm went off twice one night, at 10:30 p.m. and again at 1 a.m. Each time it rang for about half an hour and made it nearly impossible to rest. By the second alarm, many guests had gathered in the lobby, upset. There was only one staff member on duty. She couldn’t reach the manager and was trying to get instructions by phone from an engineer so she could turn it off. It affected how well I could function at work the next day and raised safety concerns. The hotel is marketed as an all-inclusive, five-star experience, but seemed understaffed. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and clearly trying their best, though they seemed stretched too thin. Check-in felt rushed and disorganized, probably because the same person was handling several jobs. Room service took a long time, and items were missing from our order. Calls to the front desk often went unanswered, with the phone ringing for ages. We picked this as a special treat and left disappointed and frustrated. There’s potential here if management improves staffing and keeps service consistent.

I had the best travel experience here. I’d never stayed at an all-inclusive hotel before, and I really enjoyed the service, food, wine, and snacks. I’m trying to find out whether this owner has another place like it, but it seems unique. I’ll be raving about the stay for a while.

We stayed with family to be near my daughter’s cheer competition, and this is the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s also the only all-inclusive hotel I’ve experienced in the States. The food was delicious, and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great food, drinks, and service.

The food was delicious, and the all-inclusive setup really made a difference. From Mr. Bernie’s warm welcome at check-in to Cynthia being lovely at checkout, the service was great throughout. The room was amazing too, with heated floors and a bed that was incredibly soft and comfortable. Everything felt perfect. I’d happily give this hotel more stars, recommend it, and stay again.
