The rooms look nice, but at check-in they take a $50 refundable deposit and don't explain that you have to claim it by a certain time. They stay quiet about it until you ask, then say you forfeited it for being late. That feels fraudulent. Do better.

The rooms are good, and nights are pretty quiet, though there's a lot of riffraff around during the day. The internet kept cutting in and out. The manager isn't pleasant at all, and it takes away from what could be a decent stay.

We had to find somewhere in an emergency, and 1st Place Hotel came through at 3am. The room was clean and gave us a good stay, and the security staff helped us feel safe. Everyone was amazing and so friendly. Big thanks to Omar (night shift) and Chalis (morning shift) for being welcoming and helpful. Definitely coming back.

I love how they've changed things for the better in the community. The customer service is great, and the front desk staff are amazing. Omar is the best, always friendly and down to earth when I come by. I'd recommend it to anyone.
