Hilton Pasadena

I left my iPad behind at the Pasadena Hilton by mistake, and Julio, the Housekeeping Manager, made sure it got back to me safely. I’m really grateful for the care he took. That kind of service is why I stick with Hilton. Julio and the whole team have earned a loyal customer.

We were there for less than a day, but it ended up being one of our best hotel stays. We’d driven up from San Diego and booked at the last minute for our anniversary. Roman and Claudine at the front desk were so warm and accommodating, and the valet guys had plenty of dinner ideas for us. The room was clean and comfortable, too. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world over my 45 years, and I can’t remember being treated with that much kindness and enthusiasm. Thanks for making our anniversary weekend special. I joined Hilton Rewards, and we’ll be back.

There’s a Starbucks inside, and the lobby and restaurant are beautiful. I also liked the mini-store, one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel. Staff were friendly, and the concierge gave helpful local suggestions at check-in. Valet was convenient too: call for your car and it’s there by the time you reach the lobby.

The location is spot on, with Old Town an easy walk away, and they’d even decorated for the upcoming OASIS concert. The place was clean, though it could use a bit of updating. My room ran warm, which is the only reason I took off a star. The front desk staff were lovely, the bartenders were fun and pleasant, and room service came fast and tasted great.
