We stayed in a room with a balcony and loved being able to sit outside, enjoy the lovely weather, and try the region’s excellent wines. The setting feels welcoming and charming, right in downtown. There’s a great wine tasting experience and lots of restaurants just a short walk away, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy Paso Robles.

We stayed in the garden king room the weekend of 2/13/26 and had a really enjoyable visit. The grounds were lovely, with a pool, jacuzzi, koi ponds, fire pits, and outdoor games. Our bed was comfortable, the shower got hot with good pressure, and we were glad to have robes, slippers, and a Keurig. The inn is downtown across from the park, and the staff were great from check-in through the restaurant. There’s EV charging onsite and nearby. Grapeline tours picked us up at the inn for a wine tasting, and we recommend them. We’ve been here before and will definitely come back.

The garden area was peaceful at night, and the lit trees around the fire rings gave it a great feel. We ate at the steakhouse and enjoyed the food and courteous service. It’s a good place to stay while visiting Paso Robles or exploring the central coast along the reopened PCH California Hwy 1. You can walk from this downtown spot to plenty of shops and restaurants. There’s a nice restaurant onsite that also serves breakfast. The rooms are spacious and high quality, with lovely decor, and the garden is beautiful, with a pool, Jacuzzi, and fire pits.

We had a pleasant evening dining outside on the Cattleman's Bar patio. The service was good, and the food was very good too.
