The place was quiet, but I don't think it was worth $70/night. There were cockroaches, and I spent much of my time spraying bug spray and killing them. The microwave was very dirty, and the dresser tops and counters felt sticky. I was so freaked out that I moved my luggage and other belongings back to my vehicle and only went to get things as needed. It just wasn't good value for the price.

I always check hotel beds for bed bugs, wherever we stay, and this time we found one. The covers were stained and looked nasty, and the room smelled bad. When I went in and showed him a picture of the bug, he gave my money back, but said nothing besides asking for my card and telling me to sign this. It was all 23 dollars cheaper than Comfort Inn, and Comfort Inn was much better. If you're staying in Pauls Valley, don't stay here. I recommend Comfort Inn.

It was quiet, and for the price the place was decent. You can have pets and smoke inside if you want. The comforter definitely hadn't been washed, though, because I could still see wet spots from what looked like spray stain cleaner.

I've been staying here for about a month, and everything has been really nice. The people who run the place are helpful and make sure everyone around there is in a safe area. I haven't had any problems with anything or anybody. It's convenient to get to town, and there's a beautiful river along the way. There are some nice, decent restaurants and homelands in the area too, and they have an awesome meat department.

I just needed somewhere cheap to shower and sleep, and this did the job. The place was okay, but even though I had a non-smoking room, the bathroom had clearly been smoked in. There were a couple of holes in the sheet, so I slept on the top sheet.
