I stayed two nights while working in Atlanta, and the experience was very upsetting. I’m from a minority community and had hoped to be treated with respect, especially given what we’re experiencing collectively, but the staff were rude. Age shouldn’t come with rudeness. I expected Southern hospitality and instead felt treated like a criminal. When I had a problem with my room door, they handled me like a child. This morning, I felt watched closely during breakfast. I’m a traveling nurse, and I don’t see why anyone should care if I take an extra waffle or a carton of milk. The breakfast attendant spoke sharply to me about using the waffle maker, while being very helpful to CAUCASIAN guests. I won’t stay here again. I hope management takes this seriously and fixes it. Customer service matters wherever you are, and to everyone.

For the price, all I wanted was a place to sleep and breakfast, and that’s what I got. It’s small and quaint, nothing fancy, but I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was polite, the room was clean, and lots of things looked freshly painted or replaced. The parking lot felt safe and was well lit. Even the outdoor sitting area is cute. It seems like they’re turning the place around.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of shopping and dining, and the manager during our stay was friendly, hardworking, and outstanding. I did find the carpet freshener overwhelming. I don’t know if that’s what it was, but it could be a problem for people sensitive to perfumes. The shower needs a rubber seal along the bottom of the doors, since water pooled outside and could cause an accident.

Nothing fancy, just a clean, basic budget hotel with good service and very nice people. The location is great, with the shopping and restaurant area an easy walk away.

There’s plenty nearby in the avenue, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds and nice, roomy bathrooms. The pillows were softer than I like, but that’s just my preference.
