You might get a clean room, or you might not. Mine had urine and other bodily fluid stains on the sheets, and the bathroom was dirty. The breakfast was inadequate, the television didn’t work, and the refrigerator ran but only cooled to around 75° at best. If you need a room and bed, they have one, but don’t expect the polished look of the company or website photos. It is what it is, and it seems like luck of the draw. My impression is that local trucking companies keep the place going by housing new hires during orientation and hiring. They might go out of business if those companies canceled their contract.

The woman who checked me in was great, and I had no problem with the service at the desk. But the room was a different story. It smelled horrible, there was mold on the ceiling, and the beds were painfully uncomfortable. The carpets in the rooms, halls, and stairs all needed vacuuming. Breakfast was so limited I didn’t even try it, and there wasn’t any cream for my coffee. I paid $130 and felt like I’d ended up at a Motel 6. We only stayed because we were exhausted. I remember when pulling into a Ramada meant you’d found a quality place, with some pride in making customers happy. This place failed badly at that. It would take a miracle for me and my family to stay at another Ramada.

Tawana, the manager, was really friendly and let us check out late so we had more time for the headache, dizziness, and nausea to pass. That helped a lot. The pain, dizziness, and nausea went away, though some pressure remained. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the place felt peaceful and quiet. Our clean room smelled nice, with blackout curtains that helped us keep it dark and cool while one of us had a migraine. I’d definitely stay here again.

We checked in and paid for the room ourselves, explaining that we’d be checking back in for our job. They said we could keep the same room. Then they went through our baggage and cleaned the room after we’d asked three people not to.
