America's Best Inn - Perry

Jennifer, the night front desk host, was very friendly and took good care of me. The rooms were very clean, and I appreciate everything Jennifer did during my stay. But the owner, Miguesh, gave my personal information to someone else while I was standing there, without asking if I was okay with it. That's why I rated the service two stars. I don't think I'll stay at this hotel again because my information wasn't kept private and confidential.

We only planned to sleep for four or five hours before finishing our drive, but the room was so dirty I wouldn't let my daughter shower. There was pubic hair on the toilet, urine behind it, mildew on the shower curtain, soap scum around the drain, and a woman's hair in the sink. A towel I used to wipe up water spilled by my daughter was filthy, as if the floors hadn't been cleaned. The bedspread had stains, the curtains were stained, and there was hair on the pillow. The heating unit looked like a fire hazard because of how it was connected. We found a musty smell in room 103. We stopped late on February 2, 2026, while driving from Orlando back to Kentucky. I had to knock on the side window to wake the attendant. Check-in took about 30 minutes; he quoted a price in the $48 range, then the final price was in the mid $70s. He said he worked at another nearby hotel and wasn't familiar with the system. I was too tired to argue after seven hours of driving, so we went to the room and slept under blankets from the car. Several days later I called to report the problems and request a refund, but the foreign owner refused. Corporate opened a complaint but said it couldn't override the hotel on a refund. I have photos and plan to contact the BBB and Georgia fire inspector and post on review sites. I travel for the state and know safety and OSHA standards well. Find somewhere else to stay, trust me.

I left a small bag in the room by accident, my fault, I know. The manager mailed it to my house, but many items were missing when it arrived. When I called, he brushed me off and only seemed concerned about being paid for shipping. No apology, just a bad attitude.

I've been staying here for five months and usually pay after work because my reservation is already in the system. Tonight, the white guy at the front desk was rude and hung up on me when I called to make a payment. He told me, “NOT WITH ME YOU DONT,” then hung up. He doesn't know how to use the machine, and people end up waiting hours to pay. I'll wait until morning, and I pray I never have to stay here again. I was so angry I nearly went up there and went off. If several people are complaining and they keep him here knowing he has mental health issues, I won't stay here anymore, and I mean that.
