Our room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk worker made the overnight stop especially easy. She was so friendly and called around until she found a restaurant that was open on Christmas Day. The Chinese place she suggested was really good. I think her name was Kristen.

I want to thank Lydia in the breakfast area. Even though breakfast had just ended, she kindly let us eat and made us feel welcome and looked after so early in the morning. That small gesture made the stay memorable. We had a great visit overall. Thanks, Lydia!

We really liked the location, the easy in-and-out parking, and the staff. Breakfast was superb, with lots of choices, and we'd stay here again if we're back in the area. The one drawback was our room being across from the pool and hot tub. When someone used the tub, a whistling sound carried into our room, loud enough to hear over the TV. That's why I took off a star for the room.

I was surprised how quiet my clean, well-equipped room was, even though it faced the busy truck stop next door. The staff were warm and professional, from the desk to breakfast and housekeeping. It's an impressive, welcoming hotel in a remote spot, and perhaps that keeps it from being used to its full potential. I'll stay here again when I visit family.

The breakfast crew was terrific and made delicious omelets from scratch, with plenty of variety. The place was clean and quiet, and the staff were polite and friendly. We did have a problem with the room's A/C, though. The front desk didn't seem to take it seriously, so we spent the night with a unit that wasn't working right. I also wasn't pleased about the $100 deposit, even as a platinum rewards member.
