Budget Inn

The owners and staff were extremely nice and took great care of us. The whole motel is kept clean, and they've updated it so the rooms are quiet, comfortable, and have what you need. It was a good value for our hard-earned money. Thanks to the staff for making us comfortable and relaxed.

The rooms inside are clean and modern, with new appliances, comfortable beds, and hot water whenever you need it. They're affordable too, with prices that fit a budget hotel. The outside could use attention: the faded sign blends into the surroundings and the place looks a bit out of place. But don't judge it by its exterior.

I found evidence of bed bugs when I checked the mattress, so I went straight to the desk and got my money back before leaving for another hotel. They denied having bugs, though they refunded me very quickly. Before I even got to the room, the online booking details weren't on file, and I spent 30 minutes on the phone. The front desk guy wasn't friendly and seemed annoyed that I had a dog, even though the hotel is listed online as pet-friendly. They charged $15 for the dog. I also saw no other guests except people who seemed to live there. Don't waste your time or money.

There aren't any outlets beside the bed, and smoke from guests in the hallway gets into the room. It seems like this used to be an open-air motel that was later enclosed. At least that means you don't get as cold walking to your room. It's okay if you just need somewhere warm to sleep.
