The playground was a nice perk for the kids, and the location made it easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Everything looked old, but the room did seem clean. Still, the value felt very average. We chose a one-bedroom suite so the kids could sleep separately and were assured two pack-and-plays would fit. The bedroom door had slats, so it didn’t block noise, and we had to move furniture around to fit the second pack-and-play while keeping access to the bathroom. The room needs remodeling, the beds should be replaced because you can feel the springs, and the picnic tables need attention before they fall apart.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a great time. The staff are really nice, the rooms were clean and smelled fresh, and the property is very well kept. There’s plenty to do, including ping pong, basketball, volleyball, indoor and outdoor pools, and a fire pit. We’ll come back. You can hear guests upstairs through the ceiling, so if noise bothers you, ask for an upstairs room.

The manager got in touch after my bad review and offered to arrange a downstairs room and provide a microwave. She took care of the concerns I’d raised, and I really appreciated that. I’d asked the clerk for a ground-floor room because I have medical issues and my husband’s back had been hurting, and I’d also mentioned there was no microwave in the room.

The staff made the stay for us. They went out of their way to help, and the whole process from check-in through check-out was seamless. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the price felt reasonable for the quality. It’s in a great spot, near everything but still quiet and peaceful. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels around here over the years, and this is easily my favorite. I’ll be back every year.
