We loved room 301. It was beautiful and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and nice furnishings. After booking, I realized I wanted a different room, and Claudia, the concierge, responded quickly and helped arrange it. We were there for just one night after a show at Walt Street Theater, but enjoyed it enough to plan another visit. Breakfast was lovely, with something for everyone, and both the lobby and breakfast room were nicely appointed. When we arrived in the afternoon, there was coffee, tea, and cookies, plus hot chocolate, which I hadn't expected and was in the mood for. They also validate parking, which brought the rate down. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

We were in town for a show at walnut street theater, and the location worked great. The staff were VERY accommodating, friendly, and pleasant. It was brutally cold and extremely windy, so we didn't get to see much of town this weekend. Can't wait to book again this summer. See you then!

This historic hotel is right in the heart of Philadelphia's historic area, and we could walk to everything we wanted to see, from Independence Hall to Betsy Ross house and everything in between. Even downtown, it was nice and quiet. It was a quick trip, but we really loved it and would definitely recommend it.

We had a memorable stay at Morris House Hotel and would return if we're ever in Philly. There was plenty to see within walking distance, and the concierge recommended Talula's Garden just around the corner for dinner, then graciously called to get us in. We had a great meal. The staff were friendly on arrival and told us about the hotel's history. Our clean, quiet room was on the third floor, with no elevator. We parked in the convenient ramp across the street and got a discount through the hotel. Breakfast was adequate for us, in a clean, quiet, friendly dining room. I'd never been to Philly and wanted to be able to walk to sights from the hotel, so this worked well.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were kind enough to find a bracelet I'd lost and mail it to me. I hope we can come back in the future!
