Courtyard by Marriott Scottsdale North

Some last-minute travel plans changed, and Joe and his manager Corey helped me sort things out. I really appreciate the impression they made and the way they represented Marriot. Great customer service goes a long way.

I’m raising a serious concern about the employee working the graveyard shift at your North Scottsdale Road location. He leaves the front desk unattended and hides in the back office. When people need help or directions, he gets aggressive and yells at them for not knowing what to do, even though he wasn’t there to guide them. His laziness, rudeness, and attitude are unacceptable for customer service. Management should review the security footage from both the back office and front desk during the overnight shift to see how he treats people. I consider him a liability to the hotel and think he needs to be fired. I expect someone in management to look into this and follow up with me about how it’s being handled.

Thanks to Cynthia in the Bistro for being so kind over the past two mornings. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is looked after. I’m looking forward to stopping by the bistro once more before my trip ends. Thank you, Cynthia!
