Element by Marriott Phoenix North Norterra

Breakfast was good, and the espresso machine was very nice. The pool looked nice too, but it was very cold despite being listed online as heated. The lobby also smelled really bad much of the time. The hotel itself seems nice and is close to lots of restaurants, but our experience with the staff and management was very poor. We booked through Expedia and paid extra for a king room with a sofa and kitchenette. At check-in, we got a king room without either, and the hotel was sold out. The website photos showed a large shower, but we were put in a handicap room with a tiny shower and fabric curtain. The front desk didn’t seem to care, and the manager wouldn’t come out of the office to speak with us. We had planned to cook and eat in the room, but there was only a fridge, not even a microwave.

We stayed a full week at the Element Phoenix North Norterra and have been telling friends and family how much we enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and hardworking, and every facility, including the restrooms, kitchen, dining areas, pool, and lobby, was meticulously kept. The room was nice, with a king bed and a very large restroom that made getting ready easy. Since this is a new hotel, everything still smelled fresh and the amenities were in new condition. Breakfast included on the Element side was amazing. The chefs made a fresh item each day, such as pancakes, avocado toast, chicken and waffles, or eggs, along with fruit, coffee, and bagels. The AC lounge also served fantastic meals, nicely plated. The pool area was tidy, with comfortable loungers, and a waiter would occasionally come by to take an order. There’s ample free parking, so finding a space wasn’t an issue. We’ll book again for future visits!

Jcie at the Bar was a gem. She went out of her way for the kids and helped them make s'mores each night. Just a fantastic person! We had a great stay. Our family’s room was perfect, and we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with a nice sized fridge and microwave. The hot breakfast made each morning was delicious, and the pool and hot tub area felt amazing, almost like a resort.

We had a great experience here, and the staff were awesome. Our double queen room was excellent: mini stove, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishes and cups for four, a small office table, a couch for three or four, and plenty of closet space with a safe. There’s lots of room to sit in the dining and bar area, and the gym and golf swing sets are nice. The courtyard is pleasant, as is the heated pool. They also have three private pool lounge areas with plenty of outdoor seating.
