Maricopa Manor Bed & Breakfast Inn

We were so happy with our stay, and choosing this B&B for our first bed-and-breakfast visit was a bingo. We spent a quiet, relaxing Valentine's Day in the Manor Suite, and it was beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. Joan was kind and hospitable, and seeing happy couples getting married in the website photos made sense once we were there. The suite gave us privacy, like a separate little space rather than a room crammed into a house. The decor was lovely throughout. There was natural light, dimmable lamps and ceiling lights, a comfortable kitchenette and mini living room with roomy seating for two, and a very comfortable bed with luxurious sheets. My fiance agreed I felt like royalty. The bathroom had a huge tub with jets, and the water stayed hot thanks to the on-demand tankless heater. We watched movies on Cox Cable and enjoyed the fireplace between the bedroom and living area. An upgraded TV might add to the room's comfort, but the current one didn't spoil it. The grounds were manicured and lovely even in the rain. I didn't use the pool because it was cold and wet, but it looked nice. There were eateries nearby if we wanted to go out. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful: hot quiche, muffins, OJ, tea, and fruit with whipped cream. We couldn't have been happier and didn't want to leave. I'd definitely return.

We stayed in the Pasadena suite over Christmas week, and the courtyard was a lovely spot for a family wedding shower on a sunny afternoon. Our children were all able to stay near us, and we gathered in the suite's comfortable living room. The place is a lovely oasis in a great part of Phoenix. Joan brought breakfast in picnic baskets, which we especially enjoyed. Each morning had a different, creative meal, and all four were fresh, delicious, and enough for two or three people. We thought we might get tired of crustless quiche, but we didn't. Hope we can stay again soon, Joan!

The Library Suite had a super comfortable king bed and a patio door opening onto the lovely grounds. Joan was very accommodating, and breakfast was just right. Great location too, with lots of good places to eat out.

Joan brings a great breakfast right to your door each morning. The outdoor areas are clean and inviting, with a central courtyard where you can relax, read, eat, or have a drink while listening to the fountains and birds. A great place to visit and stay.
