Phoenix Sunrise Motel

The $210 weekly rate, or $30 a day, was what convinced me to stay. I arrived from Sky Harbor at 11 pm, and the owner was happy to greet me. It's an older motel, but my room was a decent size, with a newer mattress, new carpet, and a new toilet. The bathtub was very old and worn, though fine for a shower. Staff were wonderful, and I felt safe and enjoyed my stay. There's a fridge, microwave, cable TV, and snacks you can buy. The light rail is within walking distance, and Sky Harbor is close by. If you just need an inexpensive place to sleep and don't care much about decor, I'd recommend it.

We ended up staying three nights after initially booking just one because everywhere else was full. The family running the motel was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy, everything worked, and there were no bugs, noise, or sketchy issues. It's not fancy, but it was comfortable, reliable, safe, and friendly for a decent price. I enjoyed staying here.

When my wife, our newborn, and I first came to Phoenix, AZ, we stayed here for 30 days. The place was very clean. They were strict about who they let stay at the motel, for good reasons, and you'll be safe here.

What really stuck with me was that they called after I left an item in the room. That kind of thoughtfulness warms your heart and reminds you there are still good people around. The exterior was well lit, I was warmly welcomed, and they made sure I had what I needed. It was an excellent stay in a great room.
