Days Inn Pierre

Whenever we’re on our way through Pierre, we stay here. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and breakfast is delicious. I’d love to stay again and definitely recommend it.

The room was way overpriced for how poor the quality and experience were. Roaches everywhere, water leaking from the ceiling, squeaky bed, cold eggs and sausage, and staff who weren’t friendly or welcoming. Never go unless you’re homeless and it’s freezing outside!

There were cockroaches in the room, and on our second day we found bugs crawling on the beds, which had seemed clean before then. The bathroom door had water damage and wouldn’t close properly, the bathroom vent didn’t work, and there was mold on the shower curtain. The door to the hall had no seals, so outside noise and light came through. Floors, doors, and windows were visibly dirty. The overhead main light didn’t work, either. Our double queen room had only two towels and no trash can. It took 15 minutes to bring a filthy trash can, then over an hour to get more towels. The front door wasn’t working, so anyone could walk into the building. It didn’t feel secure. The guy at the front desk wasn’t helpful and couldn’t answer simple questions. When we asked for a trash can, my husband had to point to an actual one before he understood. When we asked how late breakfast went, he said, “I don’t know.”

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were really nice and accommodating, and when there was a mix-up with our room, they had no trouble fixing it. They made sure we got the room we needed, with three beds, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great, too. We didn’t check out breakfast. I recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back!
