The staff were great, and I'm already looking forward to coming back next year and seeing the renovations. Taylor, the AGM, checked me in and made sure I had everything I needed. Dee Dee saw to it that my room was cleaned and that I had fresh linen and towels each day. At breakfast, Andre was attentive, refilled my coffee, and suggested places around the area. Brittany, the Food and Beverage Manager, made me a delicious omelette. Since I'm allergic to tomatoes, she came out to make sure she had made it herself and that nothing would trigger a reaction. I was in town for a 50th birthday party last week, and the service made a strong impression.

I checked in today, 10/31/25, and regret paying my hard-earned money to stay here. The hotel looks nice when you enter, but the hallway smelled musty, the carpet was dirty, the beds were old, and the pillows were almost nothing. The tub, fixtures, and windows were bad too. I drove three hours just to find this dirty place. They told me there'd be no refund because I booked through a third party, and that's fine. The hotel needs renovations. I guess weed heads can stay here and wear the place down for the price. I'll never come back and wouldn't recommend it.

For four days in Charlotte, I needed somewhere to park, shower, sleep, and make coffee before heading out again. This hotel handled those basics perfectly. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfy, the AC cold, the shower hot, and the fridge and microwave came in handy. I didn't use the pool or gym or eat breakfast. It was a predictable, comfortable, uneventful stay, and I'd choose it again next time I'm in the area. The location felt safe and convenient, close to everything I needed. The decor may be a little dated, but the place felt homey and very clean. Every staff member was warm and efficient.

The hotel was clean, which is about the only positive I can offer. I booked it specifically for the indoor pool because our granddaughter loves swimming, and we were bringing her to a hockey game across the street for her birthday. When we arrived, the pool had been drained, with no notice on the website that it was closed. The rooms also had no Wi-Fi, and a few other guests were at the front desk asking why their Wi-Fi wasn't working.
