Morning Sun Inn - Pittsburgh

We’d gladly return. Randall was a great host, and we enjoyed the excellent full breakfast. The room was clean and lovely, with nice shared sitting rooms. Parking out front or behind the house was convenient. It’s a safe area, with several restaurants an easy walk away.

Randall was a warm, calm, and enjoyable host, and our son went from bashful to comfortable pretty quickly, especially after he saw the heart-shaped pancakes made just for him. Breakfast was freshly cooked and waiting downstairs, and we got to chat with Randall. The house is immaculately kept, with stunning architecture, tall ceilings, and windows that bring beautiful light into every space. Our suite’s bathroom was huge, had lovely marble tile, and was incredibly clean. I wish I could wake up in a home like this every day. It’s a great place in a great neighborhood, no need to look elsewhere.

There are several great places to eat a short walk away, and Randall’s recommendations led us to a delicious dinner nearby. The Morning Sun is also walkable to the Pittsburgh zoo and just a fairly short drive from downtown Pittsburgh. Parking onsite and locally was available and included. Randall was polite, pleasant, and engaged, and the Morning Sun felt clean, well equipped, and comfortable. It has character and was much nicer and more fun than a sterile chain hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, would return, and definitely recommend the Morning Sun.

We loved the comfortable bed and recently renovated room. My sister and I spent one night in the Karen room, and Randall was very accommodating. Breakfast was a treat, especially his blueberry pancakes. There are also several restaurants and pubs within walking distance. A wonderful B&B near the Pittsburgh Zoo!
